The number of new listings taken last week dropped to 53 compared to 57 the week before for condos and single family homes in Rockingham County. The highest priced new listing was a Victorian style home built in 1895 in North Hampton for $3,650,000 and the second highest priced new listing was a single family Cape style home in Salem for $1,499,000. There are 311 current active condo and single family homes available in the County compared to 302 the week before. The average active listing price of the current listings is $995,676 compared to $1,008,513 the week before.
The number of sold condos and single family residences jumped to 62 compared to 37 the week before. The average sale price for the week was $622,151 compared to $711,908 the week before. The highest priced property sold last week was a Cape style home built in 1950 in Rye for $1,350,000 and the second highest priced sale was a Colonial style home in Stratham for $1,280,000.
