The number of new listings taken last week increased to 67 compared to 53 the week before for condos and single-family homes in Rockingham County. The highest priced new listing was a contemporary style home with ocean views in Rye for $4,200,000 and the second highest priced new listing was a 6,250 square foot single family Colonial style home in North Hampton for $2,499,000. There are 303 current active condo and single-family homes available in the County compared to 311 the week before. The average active listing price of the current listings is $989,447 compared to $995,676 the week before.
The number of sold condos and single-family residences fell to 33 compared to 62 the week before. The average sale price for the week was $689,921 compared to $622,151 the week before. The highest-priced property sold last week was a Colonial style home built in 1999 in Rye for $1,570,000 and the second highest-priced sale was a Craftsman style home in Portsmouth for $1,300,000.
