The number of new listings taken last week fell to 133 compared to 138 the week before for condos and single-family homes in Rockingham County. The highest-priced new listing was a single-family Modern Architecture style home built in 1999 in New Castle for $6,500,000 and the second highest-priced new listing was a Cape-style home built in 1987 also in New Castle for $2,695,000. There are 423 current active condo and single-family homes available in the County compared to 397 the week before. The average active listing price of the current listings is $997,126 compared to $972,213 the week before.
The number of sold condos and single-family residences was 77 compared to 106 the week before. The average sale price for the week was $660,444 compared to $694,675 the week before. The highest-priced property sold last week was a Colonial-style single-family home in Hampton Falls for $1,795,000 and the second highest-priced sale was a single-family home built in 1842 in Portsmouth for $1,700,000.
