The number of new listings taken last week dropped to 110 compared to 125 the week before for condos and single-family homes in Rockingham County. The highest-priced new listing was a waterfront antique cape-style single-family home built in 1750 in Portsmouth for $4,200,000 and the second highest-priced new listing was a cape-style home built in 1981 in New Castle for $4,000,000. Currently available condo and single-family home listings jumped to 502 in the County compared to 488 the week before. The average active listing price of the current listings is $977,378 compared to $969,137 the week before.
The number of sold condos and single-family residences was 90 compared to 100 the week before. The average sale price for the week was $751,399 compared to $829,696 the week before. The highest-priced property sold last week was a single-family New Englander-style home in Rye for $5,600,000 and the second highest-priced sale was an antique colonial-style single-family home built in 1730 in Portsmouth for $2,730,000.
